Trash Schedule
Trash/Recycle Schedule and Information:
Crews from Republic Services are working diligently to continue to serve Camden residents with curbside collection services while experiencing an increase in the volume of household set-outs and staffing changes. To protect garbage and recycling staff during this time, we ask that you do the following:
TRASH AND RECYCLING CONTAINERS:
- Place TRASH ONLY in Trash Containers
- Place RECYCLABLES ONLY in Recycling Containers
- Place containers out the night before scheduled pick-up (any time after 4:00 p.m.)
- Place containers at least 4 feet from mailbox, poles, stationary objects and vehicles.
- Place containers within two feet of the road.
- Place containers with the handle facing toward the house.
YARD WASTE CONTAINERS:
- Place YARD WASTE ONLY in Yard Waste Containers
- Full size yard waste containers are available for purchase from the Town for $75. All other outdoor trash cans being used for yard waste must be labeled as “YARD WASTE”.
- Place containers out the night before scheduled pick-up (any time after 4:00 p.m.)
- Yard waste containers out for pick-up must weigh less then 40 pounds.
- Use clear plastic bags for any yard waste or leaves not being placed in a yard waste container. Do not place yard waste or leaves in colored bags. They will not be picked up!
- Sticks must be bundled and no longer than 4-feet long.
- Please note: The Town of Camden does not have a leaf sweeper. Leaves are to be placed in your yard waste container or in a clear plastic bag.
We greatly appreciate you considering these extra measures to ensure the safety of our solid waste, yard waste, and recycling collectors and the community.
